The War Against Yemen Regressed Yemen 100 Years Ago

The French website, said that the US-Saudi aggression, which has lasted for four years now, returned parts of Yemen to the Stone Age and regressed its development 100 years ago.

The site pointed out that the infrastructure of Yemen was destroyed, epidemics have spread, famine has taken hold of large parts of the country, and the lifestyles of the population have collapsed because of the aggression.

Many of the people who fled of the fighting are now returning to their homes, even when their homes are on or near the frontlines," said Claire Hadong, a MSF employee who spent several months of 2018 in Yemen.

"The Yemenis prefer to cultivate their lands and try to live with their own efforts as they did 100 years ago," says Dung. "In a society with strong family ties, rather than staying in refugee camps."

The website stressed the importance of stopping this war, saying that the number of civilian victims, in June 2018, is the worst since the outbreak of this aggression, and the death toll in the last four months increased by a huge 164%.
