The air, land and sea blockade and the direct targeting of the Saudi-led coalition of war on Yemen has forced most of the Yemeni economic facilities out of work and disrupted the production process. This has cost the Yemeni economy great losses and created spiraling social crises such as unemployment, poverty and a great shortage in medicines and consumer goods.

The coalition of war on Yemen is still going on detaining oil and food derivatives ships and preventing them from entering the port of Hodeidah in order to tighten the screws on citizens and increase their suffering despite the urgent need for oil and foodstuffs.
