The Periodical Report on the General Situation in the Republic of Yemen (May 2019)

With the continued suffering of millions of Yemeni people because of the war of the Saudi alliance and the unjust siege that violates the UN conventions and UN Security Council resolutions in the shadow of a suspicious silence that sometimes leads to complicity and even participation by countries that Yemeni people have always considered to be supportive of human rights and its just cases.

It hurts to see these countries close their eyes to the thousands of victims of Yemeni people, children, women and civilians.

In contrast, this silence becomes a cry when Yemeni people and their heroic army defend themselves against the head of the war alliance led by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, when its missiles or warplanes target legitimate targets as airfields in some airports and towers as a right guaranteed by all international conventions, religious and humanitarian.

The silent countries for years denounce and reprimand for what they have taken for the blood of innocents in Yemen from the oil of those two countries, which made them happy to destroy the airports of Yemen and close them completely: especially the capital airport (Sana'a International), and deprive millions of safe use for the airports for years.

This is a disastrous humanitarian consequence that is monitored by neutral humanitarian organizations. It is time for the human conscience in the West and East to wake up from its snooze and triumph for its principles and values.
