Children and education staff must be kept out of harm's way and schools must be maintained as safe zones for learning, not a battle ground for self-serving and politicised “human rights” agenda. ICSFT urges Saudi-led coalition to immediately stop its military operation and attack on schools and civilians. Quality education is a human rights afforded for all and Yemeni children are no exception. We urge the international community, in particular the UN to stop the silent diplomacy on Yemen and protect children's education and life unconditionally. Mere lip service is not only insufficient but may act to normalize this man-made catastrophe.
